Competition Events

🎭 Play Today

Event Details:

  • • Act out a Bible incident based on current situation
  • • Bible incident given on the spot
  • • Minimum 6 team members required

Time Allocation:

  • • Preparation: 10 minutes
  • • Performance: 5 minutes

⚠️ Movie dialogue and offensive words result in negative marking

📖 Bible Quiz

Team Structure:

  • • One team of 3 members per church
  • • Written preliminary round
  • • Top 6 teams advance to finals

Question Sources:

  • • Preliminary: Book of Acts
  • • Finals: Entire Bible
  • • English questions: NIV version
  • • Finals have subsequent rounds

⚓ Shipwreck

Event Format:

  • • Single-participant event
  • • Bible characters assigned on the spot
  • • 5 minutes preparation time

Performance Time:

  • • Presentation: 3 minutes
  • • Judges' questions: 2 minutes

🎵 Singing & Instrumental

Time Allocation (9 min total):

  • • Sound check: 2 minutes
  • • Singing: 5 minutes
  • • Instrumental: 2 minutes

Singing Rules:

  • • Minimum 5 singers (excluding musicians)
  • • Original composition based on theme
  • • Instrumental must be after singing

Instrumental Rules:

  • • Only Tamil Kristhuva Keerthanai songs
  • • Minimum 2 instrumentalists per team
  • • No Puthelurchi or independent songs

⚠️ Auto-rhythm usage results in negative marks

Provided Instruments:

Keyboard, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Drum Kit

🎨 Painting

Team & Time:

  • • 2 members per team
  • • Total duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • • Preparation: 15 minutes
  • • Painting: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • • Topic announced on the spot

Rules & Materials:

  • • Only 4 colors allowed (mixing permitted)
  • • Only fingers for painting (no brushes)
  • • One black marker for outlining only
  • • Bring your own painting materials
  • • Painting boards provided

⚠️ No mobile phones, tracing, or external references

📸 Photography

Event Details:

  • • Single entry per church
  • • Topic given on the spot
  • • Duration: 1 hour
  • • Any device can be used

Requirements:

  • • Photos must be taken inside church premises
  • • Explanation of photograph required

⚠️ Editing is strictly prohibited

🎬 Mannequin

Video Requirements:

  • • Based on a Bible incident
  • • Maximum 4 minutes duration
  • • Single shoot (no cutting/editing)
  • • Audio clip must play throughout

Performance Rules:

  • • Actors must stand still without moving
  • • More stable shoot increases winning chances
  • • Must maintain position until video ends

⚠️ Exceeding 4 minutes results in negative marks

Teams will receive negative marks if they exceed the time limit

Not following the rules of an event will lead to negative marks
